Group 7-day waking average?

Morning. 6.1

Volunteering was fun yesterday. Opera in the evening (Semele at Royal Opera House) wasn’t. I found it very hard work staying engaged. I think the singers were excellent but the set design, direction and the effort that it takes me to focus on Handel’s music all conspired against my enjoyment. We left at the interval.

Evita this afternoon!

Morning all, 5.4
Just got back from the beach having left the house just after 4 o_O
Dog and I both ready for some more sleep.

I must be insane getting up so early when I don't have work, but it's so much more pleasant with no people around! It was a bit chilly when we went out, which was a refreshing change after the recent muggy weather. We saw deer, a fox and lots of birds, as well as sheep and lambs in the field (she is a bit too interested in the sheep for my liking, but she's always on the lead). There was a little tent tucked away at the back of the beach, so I guess someone was having a sneaky wild camp. I hope they had a good sleeping bag, because it went down to 10 degrees last night.

Morning all. 5.3.

Up at just after 6, Mr Eggy followed soon after! Wow! The sun is shining, now and again, but it’s only 11 degrees. More rain forecast for the next few days. Yesterday it absolutely poured down, again, whilst my friend and I were trawling the charity shops. The sun came out on the way back to the car at 3pm! I was happy with my haul, one dress, two tops and seven books for the grand total of £18.75, more “stuff” saved from landfill and cats/dogs, the homeless and cancer sufferers will benefit too, and I got three new outfits and enough books to last me a couple of weeks! Win, win.

Grandson messaged last night, the eldest one not baby Rocco, could one of us pick him up from work and can he stay over? No explanation as usual, his communication skills are zero! I said yes, it’s Greek night tonight, I got a thumbs up! Teenagers.

Today I’ll mostly be making hummous, tzatziki and pitta bread.

Have a great day.

Morning all, 5.5 here. Slept really well last night, it’s a lot cooler! It went down to 9 degrees, according to our neighbour's garden weather station. Today I will be mainly entertaining plumbers, I discovered the shower pump was leaking yesterday, after sniffing a suspicious musty smell emanating from the linen cupboard, where it lives, and subsequently finding a damp patch on the study ceiling below..

Morning all. 🙂 8.5 here.

Off to Cardiff today for a day out. It’s a bit of a trek (car, then train) but I’m staying at my mum’s in Swansea for a couple of nights on the way home.

I know what you mean about going out early @Lisa65 but 4am is a bit toooo early for me!

Morning all. A high overnight again caused by treating a stubborn hypo again. I think i need to look at my teatime ratio.

Today we have an engineer coming to connect fibre broadband. Not sure how as we don't want wire trailing through the house and we haven't a spare double plug which they want. Oh well, if they can't we'll stay as we are, we have no problems with connection anyway.

Weather is nice again today, sunny and a pleasant 22°. Washing needs to go on the line and then i could do with mowing the lawn. Better get dressed first though!

Sounds like a grand day out @eggyg despite the rain.

Morning all! 5.9 for me today 🙂

Welcome back @MikeyBikey :care:

Morning was 7.2 today
think the heat plus if I’m honest with myself, maybe I’ve not been quite so careful with my food choices recently, together with no insulin for about 7/8 weeks will obviously have an effect on things

Good to see you on here this morning @MikeyBikey and back with a HS :star: seen some of your posts elsewhere :care:

Have a great day everybody 😎

Well done @MikeyBikey on the HS and good to hear from you.
A 6.0 for me today.

5.8 this morning for me after a nice flat line overnight. Little higher than previous days where I was in my more usual range of mid 4s, but steady and in range is good.

Really need a mental health break from dealing with my parent’s house sale and clearance as well as having to deal with Mum’s dementia and Dad’s constant worrying and asking for this that and the other. I appreciate how hard it is for him especially but it is also affecting us a lot as well. We are off for 2 weeks this Saturday on the canals so I fully intend to unwind and relax. We’re aiming for Chester and Ellesmere Port, water levels permitting.

Congratulations @MikeyBikey on your HS, hope everything is ok with you.

Take care everyone!

Morning

welcome back @MikeyBikey and congratulations on your HS.

4.3 for me today after a better sleep with the cooler night, today looks like a nice day, sunny and a top temperature of 24, which for me is my idea of a good summer day. The walk to mum’s at lunchtime should be quite pleasant, then 2hrs yoga this evening.

ITs a good job i got dressed when i did, the engineers came earlier than planned and were able to do the job!

Congrats on the HS @MikeyBikey and its nice to see you back on the thread. I'm hoping rehab goes well for you.

@Eternal422 sorry you're having a hard time with everything re your mum and dad. Two weeks away will give you the break you need. Have a good time and relax.

Much cooler here yesterday and overnight so I had a good night's sleep for a change. 5.8 when I tested.

Our eldest and his mates arrived safely in Madeira yesterday and he's posted a pic of them playing pickleball. They didn't want the usual "lads' holiday" (done that, got the T-shirt), hence their choice of Madeira. He mentioned a round of golf and one of the hiking trails while they're there.

Usual Thursday swim before lunch - it was such a relief to cool off in the pool on Tuesday, even though it was busier than usual - and then settle down to watch some more tennis this afternoon.

Welcome back and congrats on the HS @MikeyBikey

Have a good day.

I can certainly empathise with the house side of things how both physically and mentally draining it is. Sending you a virtual hug. Enjoy your 2 weeks on the canals.

Morning everyone. A happy 4.6 for me on this bright sunny day....
